15 Pictures to Inspire You This Fall

One of the downsides to living in South Florida? The lack of fall. If there’s any sign of “fall,” it usually means a palm frond has fallen from a tree. Not the stuff that makes you think of sweaters, pumpkin-flavored everything, and typical fall activities amongst a backdrop of colorful-leaved trees. Pennsylvania, on the other hand, has amazing, beautiful autumn seasons – and I can vouch for this state because I lived there for four years. Click the link to see some pictures that may make you wish to be immediately transported to a countryside pumpkin patch…

These pictures were taken at a pumpkin patch near the Historic Round Barn & Farm Market, a super neat place that sells local baked goods (like the black raspberry pie in the image below), fruits, vegetables, and Apple Cider, among other items – all amidst an immense circular barn. It’s located in Pennsylvania’s scenic countryside, near a winery and about 8 miles from the historic town of Gettysburg (where the Battle of Gettysburg was fought July 1-3, 1863 during the American Civil War). Getting to go back to Pennsylvania during the autumn season was just what I needed to fill that void from living in Florida!

Happy fall (wherever you may be experiencing it around the world)! What’s fall like where you live?
