Having a nomadic work lifestyle seems to be growing in popularity every day. Just scroll through your Instagram and you’ll find influencers, writers, and other creatives updating their social media accounts, blogs, or business websites through wifi at a cafe in Bali, Mumbai, or Dubrovnik. Thanks to technology, creating and working for companies or establishing an online business for your personal brand has become easier. Trying American restaurants in India

When traveling abroad, I try to avoid any chain restaurants, especially American restaurants. And in my opinion, tasting new foods is one of the best ways to experience a culture! However, there do come times when you realize you’ve only got small change and there are no ATMs in sight, or you crave some sugary, terrible-for-you fast food from home. In times like these, you cave and enter the nearest Dunkin’ Donuts/ Burger King/ McDonalds. Here’s what you’re missing (or not missing), at several of these places in India… Continue reading “Trying American restaurants in India “

What it’s like to attend a movie at a fancy Indian movie theater

I had read it was a worthwhile experience to watch a movie at a movie theater in India. I recently saw the amazing opportunities that solo traveling brings when I was in Costa Rica for the month of January (I’ll be detailing more of what it’s like to solo travel in a following post!), but I’ll always be up for a group trip with friends. Keep reading to find out why YOU should go traveling with your friends… Continue reading “Why You Should Travel With Friends”

Ultimate Guide to Nosara, Costa Rica

If I had to sum up my opinion of Nosara in two words, it would be: SIMPLY AMAZING. Nosara, a town in the Nicoya Peninsula and the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica, is beachy and relaxed, yet energetic and adventurous. A perfect example of pura vida (pure life).  Continue reading “Ultimate Guide to Nosara, Costa Rica”

Starting Spring at Florida’s Alexander Springs

The other week I ventured up to central Florida to visit some friends and go swimming at one of the natural springs in the area. I’d never been to the springs before, so I was super excited and not all sure of what to expect. I thought the water would be cold (I was right) and clearer than the ocean (which definitely helped the GoPro pics come out better). Continue reading “Starting Spring at Florida’s Alexander Springs”

3 Recipes to Try Now

When you’re in a rush, it can be tempting to choose the closest pre-made packaged food within an arm’s length. Our busy lives often cause us to place our health way down on our list of daily priorities. However, eating healthy can be easy….and quick. In my experience, it’s all about finding foods that I love to eat (such as specific fruits/veggies/grains, etc.) and searching for recipes or more often than not, just creating my own recipes with the foods I have at home. The following recipes I usually make for breakfast, but they are so versatile that they make a great snack or evening dessert. Continue reading “3 Recipes to Try Now”
